The Oasis

The Oasis is our Enhanced Mainstream Provision, which means we are a mainstream primary school with additional facilities to support children with a variety of different needs. We use The Oasis as a classroom based approach for those who require a smaller classroom and have additional needs. We aim to support children throughout their learning by providing a safe, positive and rich environment whereby they will enjoy to learn through creativity! The Oasis stands for Optimising Achievement Supporting Individual Success!

The Oasis will provide a classroom base for children who may find it difficult to access their mainstream class, they may require their needs to be met in a more bespoke way and follow a specialist curriculum. Some of these needs may be:

• Cognition and Learning
• Communication and Interaction
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health
• Sensory Needs

The teacher in The Oasis is Miss Barry and the support staff are Miss Lear, Miss Brown and Mr Sol.
